I can't help bit laugh and wonder if their parents actually gave them those names or they formed the name themselves.But since its an Identity Card which means its an official real name.Different places peoples and lifestyles.

Funny names Gambian and Namibian parents give to their children
Just imagine the kind of funny stuff I stumbled upon today.You know when it comes to naming our children we Africans we take it very seriously in terms of the meaning most times it has to do with the time or period the child was born,or the events and incidents that took place or circumstances surrounding the child's birth.For example those born in August are most times called Augustine or Augustina,those born on Sundays are sometimes called Sunday,the Yoruba's name a child who is born after a set of twins Idowu,and also twins are called Taiwo and Kehinde ,most times you hear the Igbo's referring to their first daughters as Ada.There are also names like God'spower,Goodluck,Great,Prosper etc.All these names connotes good meanings. At least that's how we name children in Nigeria so I thought all of Africa would be the same or similar not until I saw some Namibian and Gambian names,Oh My Goodness! Those names are weird and hilarious at the same time.Here are some of their names written in their ID cards below;
