This lady is an averagely educated woman who sells drinks at my church.so lots of members always troop to her stall which is by the church gate to buy chilled drinks.Yesterday she wanted to load a recharge card of 1500naira since she was busy as usual selling drinks people calling her name from all corners to sell to them. So she scratched the card herself and gave it to a boy who was among the people who wanted to buy a drink. Some minutes later the young man came back and said the card has already been loaded by another user. The lady was taken aback with the words the boy just uttered.well since the boy was her church member she sadly took the card and kept it. But she kept pondering and wondering how come? A card she scratched herself not those once they print and staple but the factory fitted recharge card with its authentic looks.
It was when I went there to buy a drink she told me. I was perplexed at the story. We know there's nothing new under the sun most especially in naija. So could it be the card was fake from the factory or the boy played a fast one on her.
